Seagate locks up notebooks
Seagate has announced a 2.5″ notebook hard disk drive that includes built-in hardware encryption.
“The user has to activate a password to access any data. In fact, the operating system won’t even boot up until the password is entered,” he said. “So if the computer is lost or stolen, even if they take the drive [...]
Netgear RangeMax MIMO wireless router review
The Register has reviewed the well-designed (at least asthetically) Netgear RangeMax MIMO wireless router. I don’t want to ruin the review, but they do like the RangeMax.
See that blue orb on top of the RangeMax? Yea, apparently it points towards where the signals are coming from. Cool eh? Well, not really [...]
Apple + Intel Bitchfest Roundup
Hey, guess what? Did you know that Apple and Intel have partnered? Of course you did. It is on every single webpage dealing with any aspect of technology, or not. If it is a non-Apple related website, it will probably give vague details about the partnership, and if it is an [...]

Folugichardware.com has decided to review the Logitech X-530 5.1 speaker system designed for gaming, music, and movies (what else would you use them for?!?). I usually wouldn’t think of Logitech to release computer speakers (at least high-quality speakers), but these are quite appealing.
From the review (it’s good news):
After testing and playing with the Logitech [...]

I’m not exactly sure how they [...]
Apple to cheat on IBM (with Intel)
In what might be the biggest Apple news since the Mac Mini was released; Cnet is reporting that Apple will be announcing that they will be dropping IBM for Intel chips in 2006. The announcement is expected Monday at the Worldwide Developer Conference.
This makes you wonder what sort of price cuts Intel is giving [...]
