The M700 is the latest Pocket PC from E-TEN, the Taiwanese electronics mkaer. It’s style is very nice; with the slide-out QWERTY keyboard. There really isn’t too much information but it will be ready for the holidays.

Unfortunately, there’s no 3G to be enjoyed, but if you happen to find yourself in a WiFi hotspot, you can get your high-speed data fix that way. Other key specs include WinMo 5, GPS, Bluetooth, Push email, quad-band GSM, FM radio, and a camera.

As if most of these technology names weren’t difficult enough to spell and capitalize correctly we now get to work with the hTc MTeoR. It is annoyingly a pain to type, but it is not annoying to look at.

It is a very stylish piece of technology, much sexier than the Treo, or the Blackberry.

The MTeoR runs Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 for Smartphone, singleband 2100 MHz UMTS, triband 900, 1800 100 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Bluetooth 2.0 without EDR support as well as IrDA while it is sporting 128 MB of ROM and 64 MB of RAM which can be extended through microSD memory cards.

Palm has announced that on September 12th they will be unveiling ther latest version of their popular Treo line of smart phones.

It looks like it will still be using Windows Mobile. The software has been known to be quite troublesome in the smart phones, but has gotten better over the years.

The 700p is their latest version and is starting to show its age.

Palm is to launch the new handset to Vodafone customers in a number of European countries including the U.K., Germany, Spain, Italy and Netherlands as it attempts to win back the confidence of a market it once dominated with its Palm Pilot device.

For all of you Motorolla Q watchers out there, it appears that Verizon may be releasing the Motorolla Q on May 22nd. No guarantees though, as this product has been consistantly pushed back. No official word from Motorolla yet, and the final Motorolla Q specs are still unknown.

Bell Canada has slipped on some details about the latest BlackBerry handheld. The 7130e is unique due to the fact that it supports EVDO. This is the first BlackBerry to support the high speed network.

bargainpda.com has gotten their mits on the new superstar; the Palm TX. This Palm version includes built-in WiFi, Bluetooth, 128MB of memory, and a black case.

They weren’t happy with the slower processor, older OS, non-removable battery, and the fact that it does not come with a cradle (bah).

Motorola has just announced the Motorola Q. It is in the same design class as the RAZR line of cell phones. This is in place to compete with the Treo 650. The QWERTY keyboard is there, and it looks to be extremely thin.

I’m sure there will be reviews all-around the net as soon as someone can get a hold of one.

Mitac has demonstrated two new GPS devices, the Mio 169 Pocket PC and GPS integrated device, and the Mio Digiwalker 269 pure GPS device.

You can purchase each of them in Taiwan right now, but if you are waiting for them to come to the US; I wouldn’t hold your breath. The Mio 269 will most likely be coming to Europe soon.
