It’s official, I will never have to get out of bed again. I have my laptop right here with my trusty WiFi connection, and I am laying in my new “Ultimate TV Bed.” Thats right, this bed has everything you need at your fingertips. Make a 22″ flat panel TV appear from no-where with your remote control, and even change the tilt of the TV from the comfort of your back. Of course another reason I never have to get out of bed is because I had to sell my car to get it. Head on over to BimBamBannana and add this $33,000 to your shopping cart. I wonder if they take cash?

Also, couldn’t they throw in a bigger flat panel TV? For 33 grand I think they could throw in about 10 22″ TVs.

Because of their high production costs, don’t plan on seeing many LCD TVs over 40 inches. Though this is generally the case, Proton Electronics raises the bar with their well engineered 47 and 55-inch LCD TVs and Computex yesterday. Proton has a couple unique features in their TV, including “OverScan,” which adds 5% to the viewable area. Proton claims this allows parts of the image that are cut off on normal TVs to be viewed on their LCDs. The TVs are loaded with the latest HDTV technology as well.
