Yelp.com – any good?
I’m not usually a big fan of local city sites other than craigslist. I rarely even use craigslist. Maybe I’ll find yelp a littl more useful? I doubt it.
Local city sites are increasingly popular, but sometimes you have to wonder how much of it is paid advertising, you know? Not with Yelp. It’s all user generated reviews by locals passionate about their discoveries, from restaurants to their favorite park.
User reviews are good and all (Newegg.com is a perfect example of this), but they can still be tough to trust sometimes…
